When God created the world in seven days and it was perfect, did it ever occur to Him that in centuries hence…
1 . Man will have to buy clean, pure water that comes in bottles. No money would mean no clean drinking water.
2. Man will need an adequate, expensive health insurance to afford the best hospital care that is tremendously priced.
3. Some of us will be creating and buying bags and watches worth atleast a million pesos while others will be surviving on a peso a day.
4. Some of us will have to work six days a week, fourteen hours a day to earn a decent living.
5. 5. Some of us have to spend maybe a fourth or a third of our lifetimes working day and night to afford a good shelter in a convenient location. And they are just some of the lucky few. Most of men would not even be able to afford to buy a piece of land they can call their own in a lifetime.
6. You would need to take a lot of vitamins and supplements to fight off the many bacteria that are sprouting around. Man’s natural innate immune system alone would not be enough.
7. Brothers and sisters will be killing or suing each other.
8. A handful of trusted leaders are powerful enough to take the future away of a hundred million followers.
9. All of us will have to learn a million things first in school to have a bright future. No read, no write, no voice in society, no future.
10. Man will need hundreds of products to meet his endless needs and wants.
11. Cash is king, a good credit is queen and political power dictates how the world will turn; Contentment and achievement to most men lies on the wealth and political connections accumulated.
12. A thousand laws would be needed to keep order in society. Even so, a man can still find a way to go around the law by having the best lawyer in the country to keep on abusing the rights of other men.
13. Man will have to pay taxes upon taxes to keep his government running. In almost every move he makes and everything he does, a certain tax is in the way to keep up and support the super complex structure that governments have become.
14. Man will end up at constant odds with nature, the very environment that He created with a perfect system to be in harmony with man.
15. Man will have to spend so much money on technological gadgets to keep abreast of the fast paced world that he lives in today. No access to technology, no success.
16. Man can be sociable without having to leave his home. That no man is an island holds water by having a thousand virtual friends alone.
17. That kids today would rather play with their computer games than enjoy the outdoors playing real games with real friends.
18. Walking alone along the streets at night these days is like walking in the dungeons with lions in the darkness.
19. Man can kill another man for parking space.
20. Man has to get so many expensive vaccinations to protect himself from deadly viruses or cancers.
21. Man can be born black yet die white.
22. Countries will be spending billions on military weapons for national security but they can bear to ignore the billions who are dying of hunger and sickness.
23. Slavery in the form of underpaid and overworked “maids” would still be rampant today in what is supposed to be a civilized society.
24. Man will have to put on an effective sunblock to protect himself from the rays of the sun that has become harmful due to the thinning of the ozone layer as result of man’s own irresponsible doings to his very environment.
25. That the privileged man can live on so much convenience that everything he wants can be had by just the push of a button, a few turns of the faucet, a few clicks on his keyboards and a few calls to his networks yet complain about his slow paced internet service.
26. He will have to beg for an hour a week of man’s hectic schedule to share His words to his sons and daughters.
27. Man will be building the tallest of buildings, the biggest of ships and the fastest of jet planes which can become the very coffins of hundreds and even thousands of men in a second during accidents and terrorist attacks.
28. That some men will have to spend hours on the road to get to work and even longer hours on the road, stuck in traffic, to get home after work leaving no quality time left to spend with their families.
29. That some men in their twenties or thirties will be suffering from strokes and heart attacks due to stress.
30. A handful of rich families are influential and powerful enough to change and dictate the ways of life of the rest of the populations.
31. Man cannot just hold hands freely or share a kiss without the fear of getting or passing on germs or viruses.
32. A soda can come in a hundred forms and fresh fruits will come in cans.
33. Some parents will be spending their entire lives working in another country, leaving their children behind, to provide them a “brighter” future.
34. Technology is the new gold.
35. Some men grow old without ever seeing a real, flying butterfly.
There are a lot of good things in the world today but I think some things are just not right. In my close to thirty five years here on earth, i really think some thirty five things are just not how God may have intended the world to be.
I believe God thinks so too…do you?
