How Not To Lose A Pound in 90 Days

More than a handful of friends may have noticed the weight that i have gained in recent months since i quit going to FFPlus gym for reasons i would not even start writing about or i would end up in flare. After a few wardrobe changes going from size S to M and bordering at that to L over a course of six months [or less], i had to go on a diet with the hope of losing at least 3 pounds a month over 3-4 months. So 2-3 months back i find myself trying to abort eating rice at night and replacing my daily "silogs" breakfast indulgence with diet milk shakes and vegie juices. For lunch i treat myself to a cup of rice max. Hmm, it didn't look as difficult as it would be. Or so i thought. And then i start this blog with food as my favorite subject. With this new found passion on sharing my favorite javilicious foodologies to friends, i find myself enjoying eating out more than i ever did. I have gained the habit to order more than i usually would to get as much "experience" on the establishment's menu in "behalf" of my readers. And so my journey continues to this day as i scout for savory stuff that i can get my mouth on at the "expense" of my so called diet plan. I still religiously stick to my so called and self-made diet plan but with the occasional "i do deserve it and i do owe it to my blog" nights of trying restos and edible products that i have not tried or that i can't quit going back to, i now realize that losing a pound for me can be quite as challenging as knowing how to sing a note. No regrets though. God gave man the great chefs to prepare the most wonderful dishes and who am i to not appreciate God's creations; like these great feast of Filipino dishes i had last night at The Red Crab: a giant and oh so juicy crab in butter ginger, deep fried tilapia with coconut sauce, seafood tortang talong with aligue and clams in ginger soup. And Starbuck's new Creme Brulee Macchiatto and Coffee Bean's warm Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert. I guess what i had just last night says it all. hehe. Later then...
